Yeasayer

Yeasayer ist eine 2006 gegründete experimentelle Indie-Band aus Brooklyn, New York. Yeasayer lassen sich vom Sound vergangener Jahrzehnte inspirieren und blicken stilistisch über die Grenzen der westlichen Welt hinaus. Afrikanische Rhythmen finden sich dort ebenso wie osteuropäische Melodien oder indische Klänge, elektronisiert mit Synthesizern, Orgelklängen usw.
Das Debutalbum "All Hour Cymbals" erschien am 23. Oktober 2007 unter dem Label We Are Free.
